When choosing the most appropriate lighting for children, we usually look at factors such as the aesthetics of the lamps and the level of brightness.
Another aspect that we usually take into account when choosing children’s lamps is that they adapt to the use that the little ones are going to give them, so that they are not out of date in a short time.
And of course, it is also important to bear in mind that the style of the lamps accompanies the decoration of the room and is in line with the preferences of the little ones. But there is another factor that we cannot ignore when choosing lamps for the children’s room: safety.
At Dalber we manufacture extremely safe children’s lamps: lamps made of Polypropylene, which also annually pass the most rigorous independent safety controls at European level.
One of Dalber’s core values is the safety of children.
When designing our children’s lamps, at Dalber we work to ensure that they are totally safe for the smallest of the house, so that in no case will they represent any danger to them, under any circumstances.
For this, we manufacture Dalber children’s lamps with Polypropylene, which implies a series of guarantees for the safety of children:
The very high insulating capacity of Polypropylene makes its use perfect for the manufacture of electrical appliances. Dalber children’s lamps are therefore completely safe and eliminate any electrical risk for children.
Polypropylene is also characterized by being very malleable and resistant to any blow. It has a great capacity to absorb impacts, so that any fall or blow derived from its use by children will not represent any danger to them.
The materials from which children’s lamps are made must be able to withstand a certain temperature, as they are closely related to various electrical components and to electricity itself to generate light.
Dalber children’s lamps are powered by LED bulbs, so they do not generate significant heat. But even with everything, for more safety, the Polypropylene from which they are manufactured makes their use absolutely safe.
This material has a melting point of 160ºC, so the risk of using an LED bulb together with Polypropylene is zero. In addition, in the event of a hypothetical fire, Polypropylene has the characteristic of being self-extinguishing, so it would tend to extinguish itself.
Another important feature of children’s lamps is that they are very light. In the event of a possible fall of the lamp during children’s play, it is essential that it does not have a significant weight.
Our Dalber children’s lamps are very light thanks to the fact that they are made of Polypropylene.
In this way, if children drop a lamp, it will never cause a strong impact or cause any breakage on another surface. Nor will it pose any impact hazard to children.
